The York 025-40681-000 is a thermostatic expansion valve that is used for the refrigerant control in HVAC systems with high performance. Available in connection sizes of 1-1/8” and 1-3/8”, this valve is designed to control the amount of refrigerant refrigerant which passes through the evaporator coil to help achieve desired performance and efficiency levels of the refrigeration system. Being a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV), it regulates the amount of refrigerant in the circuits depending on the temperature and pressures prevailing in the system, provides proper superheat and improves cooling effectivity.
