The Johnson Controls RLD-H10-100 Flex Probe Extension is an essential accessory that significantly increases the range and efficiency of refrigerant leak detectors in HVAC systems. This 14” long extension, typically crafted from durable stainless steel, features flexible movements appropriate when maneuvering in congested areas. It is 0.375” in diameter which allows it to be used in most detectors. Although it increases flow restriction by a mere 0,04; psi and can endure pressures upto 300 psi, its primary function is to increase the operational radius of the probe which is the main sensing element in the leak detector.
