HVAC Transformer

An HVAC transformer converts electrical energy from one circuit to another, typically to change the voltage level. One of the main uses of HVAC transformers is to step down the voltage from a higher level, such as 240V or 480V, to a lower level, such as 24V or 120V. This is done to safely power low-voltage control devices, such as thermostats and relays, which are not designed to handle higher voltage levels.

Another use of AC Transformer is to provide isolation between different parts of the HVAC system. This helps to protect sensitive control devices from electrical interference, such as noise or voltage spikes, and also helps to ensure that any faults in one part of the system do not affect other parts.

AC Transformer can also be used to provide power to actuators, which are devices that convert electrical energy into mechanical motion. Actuators are used in HVAC systems to control dampers, valves, and other mechanical components.
