The Johnson Controls A19ACA-17 is a remote bulb temperature control which is used to set a certain temperature in HVAC systems. It operates through a bulb containing liquid or gas that expands or contracts a capillary tube that can be up to 20 feet from the main control unit. When temperature exceeds the set point, the control makes or breaks an electrical circuit SPST, thus switching off the supply of electricity to devices such as furnaces or air conditioners. A manual reset button is used to reset the control in the event of a temperature change.
