Tjernlund Products VP-2F Side Wall Vent System

The Tjernlund Products VP-2F Side Wall Vent System is intended to vent gas water heaters in both residential and commercial buildings. It provides an alternative to conventional roof venting and has a number of benefits for installation and functionality. Through a short vent pipe that is linked to an exterior wall, this device draws exhaust fumes from the water heater using a motorised fan. The fan removes combustion gases safely and effectively, doing away with the requirement for a tall chimney or vent pipe that passes through the roof. The VP-2F system can be installed with vent pipes up to 75 feet in length and is compatible with millivolt gas water heaters up to 60,000 BTU.
