The Johnson Controls VG1841ER is a three way, multiport ball valve for flow control for HVAC applications. It has a 1.5” diameter body constructed from brass material and a Cv rating of 29.2, which shows it can accommodate moderate flow rates. Unlike those valves that employ a butterfly or gate closure, the VG1841ER employs a ball-shaped element that rotates to control the flow direction. With the help of the handle, the user is able to control the flow to one of the connected pipes, another, or stop it at all.
