Trane VAL10494 Expansion Valve BBIZE-12 1/2-Ga B30

The Trane VAL10494 is the Thermostatic Expansion Valve for HVAC using R-410A refrigerant. The function as well as the efficiency of the system depends heavily on this valve keeping the refrigerant flow rate in check. Temperature of the evaporator coil will be monitored by TXVs, which will then change flow of refrigerant. Refrigerant is allowed to cool the coil temperature but the TXV limits the flow to avoid over cooling. This means the pressure in the evaporator is kept within that ideal range, and the HVAC system will run well. Made of sturdy brass for long-lasting performance, straight through designed for easy installation. The maximum capacity for this valve is 12.5 tons and it will find application in a commercial or industrial setting.
