The Siemens 184-0006 Temperature Transmitter is a precise temperature measurement and pneumatic signal conversion device. The remote bulb sensor allows it to measure temperature between 40°F and 120°F. Since the transmitter produces a pneumatic output of 3–15 PSI in proportion to the temperature being measured, the transmitter may be integrated into a wide range of control systems. This is a device common to HVAC systems used for air conditioning and heating as well as for ventilation and temperature monitoring and control. The remote bulb sensor provides for flexible installation by allowing the detecting element to be in areas dangerous for the transmitter itself.
