Trane SWT4627 Limit Switch Open 145°F/Closed 30°F

The Trane SWT4627 Limit Switch used within HVAC systems in order to reduced hazards that result from high temperatures to equipment. It serves as protection: it halts operation of the system when temperate levels crossing a given limit are detected. The switch has an open temperature of 145°F, this means that if the temperature goes beyond this level the switch will open the circuit and turn off the system. On the other hand, the closed temperature is set at 30 °F, which means the system can function optimally even at low temperatures. This dual-temperature feature offers better heat protection and also from freezing.
