The Johnson Controls CSD-SF0C0-1 Fixed Current Switch is a device for monitoring low-current applications in HVAC systems. This current switch is a solid-core type of current switch that only has an on and off switch and does not contain any relay, hence, it is best suitable for simple current sensing. It is intended for use around a single solid-core wire or cable only. When the current through the cable has reached the limit of 0.25 amps, the switch produces an on/off signal. This signal can be used by the HVAC control system to set alarms, turn on indication lights, or turn off equipment in case of an overloaded current.
