Johnson Controls TE-6300-101 Temperature Sensor Nickel T-0.1% 12" Trim

The Johnson Controls TE-6300-101 Temperature Sensor is used in measuring the air temperature in HVAC systems. The sensor we have here is a 1K nickel thermistor mounted on the 12" of the trimmable probe. Its nickel thermistor, like other thermistor-based sensors, gains electrical resistance as a result of temperature. Warm air has low resistance and air that is cool has high resistance. The change in resistance is sent by the sensor through a two-wire cable. The length of this type is 12" trimmable length that can easily be inserted into the air ducts or other HVAC enclosures to provide accurate temperature. The TE-6300-101 can be surface mounted or can easily be installed where a hole has been drilled to fit the product since its construction allows it to be trimmed.
