Rheem-Ruud RXCT-DHC Thermal Expansion Valve Kit(TXV)

The Rheem-Ruud RXCT-DHC Thermal Expansion Valve TXV Kit offers improvements in efficiency and performance for HVAC systems. The TXV assembly supports capacity from 2.5 tons up to 3 tons, with the use of R-22 refrigerant. Therefore, the TXV contributes greatly to control and hence ensures proper metering that can allow the right system temperature and pressure with this accurate control, hence increasing the dependability and efficiency of the HVAC system. The other thing is that the TXV prevents refrigerant flooding to the evaporator coil, something that would be harmful to the compressor and lead to insufficient cooling.
