The Trane SWT1718 Pressure Switch, is a vital safety switch for Trane HVAC systems. It is used to measure only 1.95” tall and 0.11” wide and a setpoint ensures safe operation. When the system pressure is less than 7 psi the switch Normally Opens which breaks the electrical circuit. When pressure increases above 22 psi the switch is closed and the circuit Single Pole Single Throw is formed.
