Carrier P281-1356 Start Capacitor 135-162 MFD 330V

The Carrier P281-1356 is a Start Capacitor 330 VAC for Carrier HVAC equipment. It briefly holds electrical energy where it has a capacitance of 135-162 MFD. During the starting of the motor when more torque is required to overcome the initial load the capacitor supplies this stored energy and helps the motor to start running freely. This helps the Carrier HVAC equipment start efficiently and thus cuts on the strain exerted on the motor and possibly on its life span. Please remember that this one is a start capacitor replacement part and other similar capacitors may not fit all the carrier equipment.
