The Trane MOT9615 is a high-powered and energy efficient replacement motor that is specifically made for Trane HVAC systems. This is an electronically commutated motor (ECM) with a 1/2 horsepower and is designed to run on a single phase 208V/230V with 60 Hz supply. It measures 16.6” in length, 8.4” in height, and 8.2” in width, and is designed to easily installed into compatible Trane equipment. In contrast to the standard AC motors, the MOT9615 is equipped with an advanced ECM for variable speed controls. This enables the motor to vary rpm according to cooling/heating needs, and hence there are far-reaching energy benefits over AC motors.
