Trane MOD1840 4-Point Expansion Module XM30

The Trane MOD1840 4-Point Expansion Module is known to be used in increasing the input/output of compatible Trane HVAC equipment. It enables the integration of up to four more sensors or actuators including thermostats, valves, or dampers into the system control network. This increased connectivity, increases the flexibility and control of the system, allowing for better control of the temperature and humidity. Advantages are increased energy savings by better control of the system, and better comfort for the occupants because of better temperature control. The module is intended for use with Trane Tracer SC controllers and other compatible heating/cooling equipment in commercial/industrial applications.
