The Carrier KH11NG070 is a SAE Liquid Strainer, which is a fairly compact part that forms part of countless Carrier HVAC systems. This is developed to specifically suit the liquid line which is the pipeline that holds and transports the refrigerant around the system. This 3/8-“ strainer helps to capture particles and other contaminants that may be found in the refrigerant, and prevent them from damaging the system’s more sensitive components such as compressors and expansion valves.
