The BASO Gas Products K15DA-18 Thermocouple is a flame detector component with an 18-inch lead length that is used in the HVAC systems to control gas safety. Its main operation is to sense the heat of pilot flame and create a millivolt signal that sustain the flow of gas. This operating mechanism transforms thermal energy to electrical output to cut off gas in case of the loss of flame presence. This is to place the sensing tip on the pilot flame and clamp the threaded connection.
