Carrier HY07MP331 Plug Solenoid Coil

The Carrier HY07MP331 is a solenoid plug coil which is used with specific Carrier HVAC units; it is responsible for refrigerant control. It works as an electromagnetic switch with a lead length of 63-1/2” to provide the flexibility of installation within your Carrier equipment. When energized the coil produces a magnetic field that in turn opens a valve to allow refrigerant to pass through, when the energizing current is removed the magnetic field demagnetizes and the valve shuts; refrigerant flow is halted. This basic but efficient component assures accurate regulation of the refrigerant flow in your HVAC system and its proper functioning as well as the desired level of comfort.
