Carrier HN53ZL115 3-Pole Contactor 115V

The Carrier HN53ZL115 3-Pole Contactor used to switch electrical circuits in different HVAC systems. It works on the basis of closing and opening of a group of contacts by means of an electromagnetic coil controlling electricity supply. When electrical enery is passed through coil it produce a magnetic field that pulls a movable armature and at the same time making the contacts close. The current being given to the coil is used to attract the armature to be close to the North Pole while the current being provided to the field is used to maintain it in the required position; when the current is removed the contacts are opened and the armature return to original position.
