Lennox 47J44 Heat Exchanger W/O Turbulators

The Lennox 47J44 is a stainless steel heat exchanger with O turbulators for heat transfer in your gas furnace. It is designed to work in that it collects hot combustion gases conveying the same heat to cooler air passing through the exchanger. This heated air is then circulated throughout your home to keep you warm. The turbulators are small fins that interrupt the smooth flow of the exhaust gases and therefore introduce turbulence. Such turbulent flow enhances the flow area exposed to the air stream to the maximum exchanging of heat thus enhancing the efficiency.
