The Johnson Controls F263MAP-V01C SPDT Float Switch is a float and lever mechanism that selects specific tank levels to be maintained by liquid level in tanks. It has an SPDT switch which when activated by the liquid level going above or below a certain point elicits an electrical response. The switch is contained in a weather proof NEMA 3R box which can be used indoors or outdoors. This float switch is getting used in HVAC applications such as to control sump pumps, condensate pans, and humidifier reservoirs. In sump pumps, the high water level activates the switch for the pump to remove the excess water in the basement or the crawl space.
