Trane VAL8579 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) FLO-Rater 1.5-3 Ton R22 30"

The Trane VAL8579 is a Thermal Expansion Valve designed for use in systems that used R22 refrigerant, which has been phased out because of its negative impact to the environment. This valve is approximately 4.2” in length and is essential to fine tune the system. A thermal actuator ensures that the valve is active to temperature changes occurring in the coil with ease. If a coil is underfilled, it will lead to reduced cooling performance while, if the coil is overfilled, it can harm the compressor. It has a 30” capillary tube to measure temperature far off and it has the working pressure of maximum 500 psi.
