Johnson Controls F-700-38 1/8" FPT TEE

The Johnson Controls F-700-38 is an essentialyet relatively compact part of numerous HVAC systems. This fitting is called a 1/8" FPT tee and it is constructed of brass and has three ports. The letters “FPT” means that all three connections are female pipe threads, which means that they will screw into threaded pipes or nipples. This tee works by establishing a junction that splits a flow line that is usually applied for fluids such as liquid or gaseous. It enables an HVAC technician to shut off a small flow of liquid or gas from the main line for such things as connecting pressure gauges, sensors, or condensate drain lines.
