Carrier EF23JX212 120V REF Solenoid Valve

The Carrier EF23JX212 is a 120V solenoid valve that is meant to be used in Carrier HVAC systems. This solenoid valve is rather small—it has approximately 7” x 2” x 4” dimensions—but it serves a function of managing refrigerant movement inside the system cautiously. Solenoid valves are, in essence, on/off control devices that use a coil to open or close a path in response to an electrical command. The coil within the EF23JX212 generates a magnetic field that unlocks the valve so that refrigerant can circulate freely.
