The Carrier EA36UZ150 Thermal Expansion Valve is an essential part used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It effectively regulates amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator for better cooling efficiency. The TXV is designed to work on the temperature actuated principle. A sensing bulb is fixed on the evaporator and it measures the refrigerant temperature. When the temperature of refrigerant is high, the pressure the sensing bulb rises and the needle of the TXV opens larger to allow more refrigerant to pass through.
