Trane COM9278 1.08-Ton Compressor R410A 60Hz 200-230V/1PH

The Trane COM9278 Compressor is a small but powerful compressor that is well suited for cooling small commercial buildings or large homes and is charged with R410A refrigerant. A well-built, compact and sealed (hermetic) structure made of cast iron. This is not a typical piston compressor as used in other systems but a scroll compressor from Trane. Two rotating scrolls in the sealed housing work as a pump to compress the refrigerant gas at a moderate rate. This design is equivalent to 1.08 tons (approximately 12,960 BTUH), which makes it suitable for the cooling of areas that do not require extensive conditioning.
