Rheem-Ruud AP14901G-1 Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve

The Rheem-Ruud AP14901G-1 Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve is a safety device used in the water heating especially in water heaters to help eliminate risk of over pressurization. This valve is of stainless steel and brass thus built to face the severe conditions as those of the water heating systems. It offers credible safeguard against such threats as possible overpressure and overheat, and the maximal temperature and pressure characteristics are 210 F and 150 PSI, correspondingly. This is assumed to be capable of handling massive thermal loads that are characteristic of water heating applications with to CSA of as much as 105,000 BTU. This is so because it features a 3/4” NPT inlet/outlet thread size through which several water heater models may be connected.
