The ASCO 8210G022LF-24V 1.5-inch normally closed solenoid valve is used for air, water as well as oil applications within a given pressure range. This valve is for air and water at 5-150 PSI and for oil at 125 PSI and it is operated through 24V. It operates through an electromagnetic coil that lifts a plunger which when energized opens the valve for fluid flow, when de-energized the plunger closes the valve stopping the flow. It is applied in HVAC systems, fluid control systems and pneumatic systems.
