When energized, the valve opens gradually in steps, allowing hot water to flow through the system and heat your space efficiently. When de-energized, it closes in steps, stopping the hot water flow and preventing overheating. This valve is specifically designed for natural gas and liquid propane (LP) gas systems, with a maximum BTU rating of 200,000 for natural gas and 320,000 for LP gas.
