The Rheem-Ruud 611046 3-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve R410A 3/8”X1/2” Sweat is one of the tools that are used in HVAC systems to ensure refrigerant flow control of R410A for cooling efficiency. The main/original purpose of thermal expansion valve is to regulate the flow of the refrigerant through the evaporator coil depending on its temperature and pressure. This type of management is able to fully control the cooling capacity and energy consumption, as it does not allow under or overfeeding of the refrigerant.
