Siemens 599-02008B is a tiny brass valve body used to control water flow in HVAC systems. This 1/2" normally closed (NC) valve controls water flow by means of a spring loaded mechanism as a response to pressure. Its basic parts include a brass body, FxF connectors and a spring calibrated for 3-8 PSI. The valve operates on a spring loaded mechanism which preferentially opens or closes in response to control signal or pressure change to permit or restrict the flow of water. This exact control is possible for the accurate regulation of water temperature and distribution in HVAC systems. This valve body is commonly used in terminal units, convectors and fan coil units.
