The Xylem-McDonnell & Miller 5-M 5 Switch W/Man.Reset #110400 is a water level control switch found in a variety of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) equipment, most notably boilers. It has five switches that keep an eye on the boiler's various water level circumstances. When the water level reaches preset criteria, the switch automatically regulates the boiler's water level by starting or stopping the pump. This keeps things like low water levels, which can cause overheating and equipment damage, from happening and helps ensure safe and effective boiler operation. Furthermore, after resolving any problems with the water level, the boiler can be safely restarted thanks to the manual reset feature.
