The Warrick-Gems Sensors & Controls 3C1A22 is a single-point level control device that monitors liquid levels in tanks or vessels used in HVAC systems and other industrial settings. The float switch on this 6-inch cast iron probe can be adjusted to open or close an electrical circuit depending on the level of liquid. The float switch opens and breaks the electrical circuit when the liquid level drops below the predetermined point. This can cause the system to do several things, such turn on the pumps to fill the tank again or halt the machinery to keep it from running in the absence of enough liquid. On the other hand, the circuit closes and regular operation can resume when the liquid level rises and activates the float switch.
