Lennox 42W35 Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) 3/8" X1/2" X1/4" 30" Capillary

The Lennox 42W35 is a Thermal Expansion Valve, applied in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. That’s some valves or a metering device, it is made of brass and controls the flow of coolant by pressure and temperature. The cool refrigerant enters the TXV, cools the TXV, and causes a decrease in pressure in the TXV. This indicates that the valve opens to permit additional refrigerant to flow into the coil on top. The refrigerant gets hot and warms the refrigerant, pressure increases and the valve shuts halfway. The flow ensures cooling and the icing of the evaporator coil is avoided. TXVs are mostly used in split system air conditioning, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
