Trane VAL8717 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) R410 6 Ton 3/8 X 1/2"

The Trane VAL8717 is a TXV designed for large-capacity, 6-ton applications of R410A refrigerants in HVAC systems. This valve of the size of approximately 4" , which serves as the critical element of the system, is approximately 4.5” long. It acts as a thermal expansion valve that operates based on the evaporator coil temperature. This eliminates overcharging as well as undercharging is perhaps a result of over through the Trane's ability to regulate the refrigerant flows through a coil. Incomplete charging of a coil results in low cooling capacity while overcharging a coil is injurious to the AC compressor. The Trane connected with sweat with no leaks during installation ensuring optimal evaporator coil performance to support efficient and reliable.
