The Sporlan Controls 112307 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential component of HVAC systems, particularly for refrigerants such as R404A. This valve controls the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator to allow efficient cooling. ODF connection size is 3/8” x 1/2” and a capacity range of 2.25 – 3 Tons suitable for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The TXV works on the Concept that the flow of the refrigerant is controlled according to the temperature and pressure that is sensed in the evaporator. It has a sensing bulb that is connected through a 60” capillary tube to measure the superheat of the refrigerant.
