Step 1: Switch off system power and safely recover refrigerant before opening the circuit.
Step 2: Remove old valve and clean refrigerant line connections thoroughly.
Step 3: Install new expansion valve in correct orientation and braze joints with purge flow to reduce oxidation.
Step 4: Mount capillary bulb tightly on suction line and insulate it fully.
Step 5: Leak test, evacuate system to deep vacuum.
Step 6: Start system, recharge refrigerant, check superheat levels and confirm stable cooling performance.
