Trane VAL2373 Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) 5" Cap 3/8X1/2 R-22 4Ton

The Trane VAL2373 is a Thermal Expansion Valve that is used in R-22 refrigerant systems of 4-ton capacity. This also referred to as a throttling valve an essentialthat is used to control the flow of refrigerant in an HVAC system. The valve uses a thermal actuator and has a pressure regulation capability of up to 700 MWP PSI. The valve has an inlet and an outlet opening of 3/8 and 1/2 respectively to accommodate the passage of the refrigerant. The TXV is connected to a 5-foot capillary tube that measures the temperature inside the evaporator.
