Century Motors SQ1072 3/4Hp 115/230V 3450Rpm

The Century Motors SQ1072 is a ¾ horsepower electric motor specifically developed for pool and spa pumps. It can run at a maximum speed of 3450 RPM and be connected to run on 115 or 230 volts. This motor runs on alternating current from a single source since it is single-phase. The motor shaft rotates as a result of the magnetic field produced by the electricity passing through the windings of the motor. Water is subsequently circulated in the pool or spa using the pump impeller, which is driven by this shaft rotation. Since the Century SQ1072 motor is open drip-proof, it is not sealed and will not break when submerged in dripping water. It should not be submerged, though, as it is not waterproof.
