The Johnson Controls M9208-BGC-3 On/Off Electric Spring Return Actuator simple and intuitive solution. It has a plastic construction, which ensures durability and easily installs on the damper shafts. The control signal is basic, and it only has two states—on and off. When supplied with 24VAC or 24VDC power, the actuator rotates the damper shaft to a predetermined position in the open state. In case of failure of the electrical power, the built-in spring in the damper shaft automatically closes the damper (fail-safe position). This also allows for the automatic shut off in case of an emergency thereby eliminating any unwanted airflow.
