The Johnson Controls M9102-IGA-3S Damper Actuator is an advanced, small form factor and capable of multiple operations for the purpose of regulating the air diaphragm dampers in HVAC systems. Unlike other on/off actuators, it offers floating and on/off control options. However, on/off control gives an open or closed status in accordance with availability or non-availability of the signal. Another benefit is the NSR (Non-Spring Return) design – this means that the damper will stay in the last state (open or closed) if the power is turned off. Two internal auxiliary switches give electrical indication of the position of the damper and can be interfaced to a building management system for enhanced control and monitoring.
