York S1-024-25964-000 1-Pole Contactor W/Shunt 20A 24V

The York S1-024-25964-000 Contactors are electrical switches that are employed in HVAC systems to control high current electrical power. It is designed for single pole use only and is powered by a 24V power supply and is rated for 20A maximum current. When the contactor is on, electric coils produce a magnetic field. This magnetic field then draws a contact arm which is movable to close the electrical circuit and allow current to flow through the linked load. Consistently with that when the coil becomes discharged the contact arm goes back to its initial position interrupting the flow of the current.
