The York S1-373-16635-006 Drain Pan with Insulation is highly-durable plastic drain pan for use in the HVAC system. This assembly is a direct fit component designed with the primary function of handling condensate water from coolings systems. Generally, it is placed under the evaporator coil or air handler to accumulate and / or to channel any extra water that may dripping coming from the system. Attached at the bottom of the drain pan is a plastic material that is corrosion free, and can be easily cleaned. Designed with insulation it also assists in avoiding formation of condensation on the exterior side of the pan, thus lowering the risks of water damages and improving the function of the HVAC system.
