Watts 0182405 1” Dual Switch Assembly is a safety part used to prevent damage to HVAC systems due to low levels of water in boilers, chillers and other associated systems. This dual switch assembly is made up of two separate switches; a low water cut-off switch and a low water alarm switch. This is proven when the low-water cut-off switch turns off the equipment as soon as the water level goes below a certain level to avoid expenses on replacement resulting from overheating or dry running. The low-water alarm switch is an audible or visual signal that gives maintenance personnel a signal to the low-water state before the water level gets low.
