The Watts 0009638 LFN55BM1 1” Pressure Reducing Valve is an essential part of HVAC systems that helps regulate the downstream pressure irrespective of the supply pressure. This valve of course maintains the boiler, chiller, heat exchanger as well as increases and decreases pressure to the equipment by controlling and minimizing pressure spikes which better reduce the loingevity and efficiency of the equipment. It used a self-contained pilot system that is always checking the downstream pressure. When the pressure goes high than the set point, the pilot indicates main valve to close the flow and decrease the downstream pressure.
