Johnson Controls VB-3966-1 1/2" 2-Way N/C Flare Globe Valve Body 1Cv

The Johnson Controls VB-3966-1 is a normally closed (NC) solenoid valve, mainly for use in control of the flow of fluids in HVAC systems. Constructed with a brass compound, the valve is capable of operating in environments with pressures of up to 400 psi static. This solenoid valve has a flow coefficient of 1.0 Cv and is thus suitable for low-flow applications. That is why it employs inverted flare connections (0.5”) for piping attachment. The necessity of having an equal percentage flow is an essential ingredient. The VB-3966-1 is intended for use with liquids with temperatures from 35°F to 281°F and is suitable for use in HVAC applications including chilled water systems, hot water loops, or condenser water lines.
