Lennox 24W73 is a Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) a control component for the Lennox air conditioners that have a 4-ton cooling capacity with the R-410A refrigerant. Constructed from high quality materials, this valve is a key component of system efficiency and cooling effectiveness. The TXV uses a long, thin capillary tube of 30 Inches to measure the temperature inside the evaporator coil. It accurately controls the amount of R-410A refrigerant that enters the coil through the 3/8-Inch diameter inlet. It has a 1/2-Inch ODF connection that allows it to be installed within compatible refrigerant lines fairly easily.
