Trane VAL9675 Expansion Valve Assembly

The Trane VAL9675 is a thermostatic expansion valve assembly for use in HVAC systems with R410A refrigerant. A thermal bulb senses the temperature and the valve opens. The valve opens as temperature of the evaporator coil where the refrigerant absorbs heat drops Allowing for higher refrigerant flow. It helps maintain desired temperature, by increasing flow. Whereas, as the temperature increases, the valve, therefore, constrains the further flow of refrigerant and prevents over-cooling of the system. This Trane valve is copper and is 3/8" in size with a female brazed connection for easy installation. The thermal actuator guarantees automatic operation due to temperature changes.
