Trane VAL8643 Thermal Expansion Valve 5/16X1/2" 2 Ton R410A

The Trane VAL8643 is a thermal expansion valve (TXV) for residential and commercial applications with R410A refrigerant based HVAC systems. A TXV or also known as a metering device is vital for regulating the flow of the refrigerant in the system. Due to proper control of the amount of refrigerant allowed into the evaporator coil, the TXV ensures efficient heat transfer and system operation. The Trane is better recommended for systems with a cooling capacity of two tons. Its sweat connectors and the tough stainless steel construction make it safe and easy to connect to refrigerant lines. The valve has a length of 1.5 inches. The Trane VAL8643 is built to handle the demands with an MWP of 700 psig and a superheat control of 87.1 psi.
